Aniedi Udo-Obong | Goodbye Afro, Hello Google

Congratulations are definitely in order as Afro’s Aniedi takes on a new role at Google as Developer Relations Lead for Sub-Saharan Africa, a position which Chukwuemeka Afigbo previously occupied.
This came as a shocker to most as one would not have pictured Aniedi leaving Afro at a time when the company was just beginning to find its feet after many failed iterations. Championing this cause was Aniedi who first took on the role of Chief Technical Officer and later moved on to General Manager.
At Google, Aniedi is expected to coordinate, manage scalable developer outreach and support programs as well as the management of local relationships with regional developers and startup communities which include accelerators and tech incubators.
His linkedin page lists his previous work experiences as Web Developer for Timbuktu Media Ltd, Technology and Product Management Associate for Paga, Product Strategy, Application Development, and Technology Team lead for Dragnet Solutions ltd not forgetting his role as CEO at Audax Solutions.
