One startup will be one step closer to winning the coveted prize of $500,000 worth of investments at the global final in Switzerland that will be taking place in 2016 via the latest edition of Seedstars world competition which would be hosted by Kampala, Uganda.
Startups intending to take part in the competition are to exhibit products that solve regional socio-economical issues or develop profitable products for the global market. They are also to be less than two years old, have a minimum viable product (MVP) and are to have less than $500,000 in funding.
The competition will see the best 12 best startups pitching to a jury of local and international industry experts and stakeholders. It will also feature inspiring keynote sessions, networking opportunities and a showcase of innovative and disruptive technology. Winners of the various local pitching events will get a free ticket to the grand finale in Switzerland amazing tech gadgets.
Speaking on the merits of the competition the CEO of Seedstars, Alisee de Tonnac says,
“Our goal is to create THE network for quality entrepreneurs around the world and help entrepreneurs, accelerators, co-working spaces and investors to interact with one another.”
