It’s an honor to share with you what is arguably one of the most “unguarded” secret to success. Truth be told, this probably, could be one of those ideologies you come across in every-day life but wave off with a shrug of your shoulders.
So here you are, with a great idea, your dream team and probably enough seed money to arrive at your MVP or like my colleague says minimum loveable product (MLP). Your friends in the eco-system tell you, you’re on to the next big thing, with an app like yours, Google could come knocking but first you have to figure out a way to get “attractive” enough to earn Google’s attention.
I mean think about it, there’s got to be some magic formula the likes of Uber and Facebook must have employed to have become this successful right? Hence the reason why you attend all those startup meetings and gatherings, hoping to finally catch a glimpse of that missing piece, you know; the one that would ensure the VCs fall over themselves to fund you. Guess what, I have the secret right here.
Wait for it…wait for it…and the secret is…well its no secret; all you have to do is believe in your vision and work really hard to see it come to fruition. Think about for a second, will you; There is really great value in small beginnings, secret to a successful harvest is basically working the earth until it bears fruits (just ask the agriculturists).
You have to apply the same love and attention to your idea a farmer would to his crops. My sincerest apology for dragging you this far but, the secret to success is plain old hard-work. Simply believe in your vision enough to work hard on it and that would set you on the right path to achieving the level of success you have always dreamt of.
