Student developers, gear up for the 2016 codecamp event taking place at Uniport in January.
In line with its vision of fostering digital entrepreneurship in the Niger Delta, Focus Hub is once again presenting upcoming student developers the chance to sharpen their coding skills.The programme which was originally slated to hold in September this year has now been postponed to January 2016.
Speaking on the objective of the program, Ikechukwu Uche (co-founder Focus Hub has this to say:
“…We at Focus Hub believe that through community interaction we can develop future technology leaders and innovators who would be advantageously positioned to compete favorably on the global stage. We are looking at developing the next generation of programmers who would be taking on society’s challenges one line of code at a time.”
Sessions in the event will include;
- Programming languages (Android fundamentals, Introduction to Python, PHP, HTML5)
- Design and Content management
- Hashtag competition
Participants for this event stand the chance to

- Be part of a team that would solve real life issues
- Network with other professionals in the field
