Are you an Agri-based innovator? Are you passionate about solving agricultural challenges through ICT? Perhaps you are a fish farmer or at the very least, a newbie; Then I bring good tidings because you can now send in your applications for #AgriHack West Africa if you currently reside in Nigeria, Benin or Togo. Organizers of the hackathon hope to, by this challenge, solve perpetual challenges in the fish value chain.
The Youth-Enabled Fish Farming #AgriHack (YEFFAA) which is an ICT4Ag project, being championed by Wennovation hub in partnership with PIND, e-triLabs and WoeLab has as its objective the development of:
1. Fish Farming technologies and techniques, including platforms for information sharing.
2. Aquaculture business models, including cooperative communities and devices/softwares that enables such virtual to real world transitions.
3. Aquaculture e-platforms for pricing and sales optimization
Interested participants are requested to submit their applications in teams comprising of three members. The organizers also consider it a plus if teams have at least one female on board.
