GroFin is a pioneering development financier specializing in financing and supporting small and growing businesses (SGBs) across Africa and the Middle East. The firm recently put together over US $100 million in funds for small and growing businesses in Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Egypt, Zambia, Ghana and Tanzania.

The Grofin fund which was officially launched on the 23rd of September, 2015 will pay special attention to entrepreneurs in the missing middle that are limited by funds and financiers. Furthermore, the fund will be targeting between 80-100 entrepreneurs, establishing various deals from between $100,000 to $1.5 million with plans to create and sustain 32,000 jobs.
