It is good news for NYSC Corp members as the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) sets to empower Corp members who have innovative and sustainable business ideas through its NYSC ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Programme. This program is in line with the agency’s mission to promote and adopt the use of ICT in all sectors of the economy to facilitate job creation, wealth creation and sustainable development.
With the objective of the program being to stimulate, engage, support and develop NYSC Corp members, NITDA is thereby issuing out a call to NYSC Corp members who are able to come up with unique ICT solutions or products that would support ICT leveraged businesses. These ideas are expected to address specific socio-economic challenges, with applicants demonstrating how these ideas can be turned into viable businesses within the next two years.
Interested Corp members are therefore advised to send in their ideas through the forms provided via this link. The submissions will then be evaluated by a committee comprising of NITDA OIIE, NYSC, incubation managers (iDEA Hub, Co-Creation Hub and SASWare), investors and industry experts; after which successful corp members will then be engaged after their service year in a $25,000 incubation grant programme.
Deadline for applications is the 31st of March, 2016. Click here to pitch now!
